Battle contest by Speedo89

My entry for #PokemonRoot's battle contest. This took me a while (more like ages) as each picture took 2-4 hours so I'm tired now but I like the finished product so it's all ok. We were given a description of the opposing team and had to try and show that in the art.

The first battle is against Owen's Electabuzz (Static) and Nina's Pidgeot (Lady). First off I picture Static to be the type of pokemon to get angered easily and that likes to punch things. From the description of Lady she cares about her appearance so staying a safe distance from Static seemed like a good idea.

The second battle between Owen's Charmander (Fang) and Nina's Charmeleon (Carmine) I thought would be more of a play fight as Fang likes to play and Carmine dislikes fighting.

The third battle was between Owen's Blastoise (Squirt) and Nina's Nidoking (Captain) would of been a very serious battle as Captain is the strongest on Nina's team. Also the eevee (Scarf) looks up to Captain so I also added her in the background.

The forth battle between Owen's Torterra (Chomp) and Nina's eevee (Scarf) would of been hard for scarf as the only move she knows is tackle and Chomp is one of Owens strongest pokemon tied with Excadrill.

The fifth battle between Owen's excadrill (Rufus) and Nina's ditto (Goey) would of been a bit hard for Rufus as Goey has the ability to turn itself into tools which Rufus would then have to dodge.

The last battle was between Owen's Gengar (Casper) and Nina's magnemite (Sairon) this battle would of been fairly even but Sairon being Nina's first pokemon is also smart, probably smarter then Casper which would somewhat give Sairon a slight advantage.
